About Mudita Salus CIC

At Mudita Salus, we are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to fostering holistic well-being through nature-based experiences, workshops, and retreats. Inspired by the concepts of mudita—the joy in the well-being of others—and salus, the Roman goddess of health and safety, our mission is to support individuals and communities in reconnecting with nature and enhancing their physical, mental, and emotional health. As a Community Interest Company, we reinvest our profits into making well-being accessible for all. Through outdoor workshops, wellness retreats, and creative activities, we create spaces for healing, growth, and connection, helping to build stronger, more supportive communities.

Our Values

Nurturing

We believe in nurturing the body, mind, and spirit through nature-based experiences that foster balance, health, and emotional well-being for individuals and communities.

Connection

We are committed to building supportive, inclusive communities where individuals can connect, share, and grow together, creating a sense of belonging and shared purpose.

Accessibility

We ensure that well-being is not a luxury but a right, offering subsidised services and reinvesting profits to make holistic health accessible to people of all backgrounds and circumstances.

Joy

Inspired by the concept of "mudita," we celebrate and support the well-being of others, fostering a positive and uplifting environment where joy and healing flourish in the company of others.

Latest Updates

Connect 3 is an 18-month project, designed to support individuals facing mental health challenges and isolation in North Somerset. Through weekly guided nature walks, participants will engage in grounding meditations, mindfulness exercises, and reflective activities, fostering connections with themselves, others, and the natural environment. The project aims to improve mental well-being, reduce isolation, and build a sense of community, with support from Naturally Mindful. Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, Connect 3 will provide a safe and welcoming space for participants to enhance their emotional resilience and gain valuable tools for managing their mental health.
