Connect3 is a series of free guided nature walks in North Somerset, designed to support mental health and reduce isolation by helping people connect to themselves, others, and the natural world.
Each walk includes mindfulness exercises, grounding meditations, and opportunities for group reflection, fostering well-being and community. This 18-month project is proudly funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, thanks to the support of National Lottery players.
Connect3: Nature Walks for Well-being
-
Connect to Self
Our walks provide a space for personal reflection and mindfulness. Through grounding meditations and guided exercises, participants will reconnect with their inner selves, fostering self-awareness and emotional balance. These moments of stillness help individuals tune into their feelings, thoughts, and overall well-being.
-
Connect to Others
Each walk offers opportunities to build meaningful relationships through shared experiences and open conversations. Group check-ins and reflections encourage participants to support and learn from one another, creating a sense of belonging and mutual understanding within a welcoming community.
-
Connect to Nature
Immersed in North Somerset’s beautiful landscapes, participants will engage in sensory awareness activities to deepen their connection with the natural world. By exploring woodlands, meadows, and other local environments, we aim to inspire awe, relaxation, and a renewed appreciation for the healing power of nature.
What to Expect
Each Connect3 walk is designed to nurture well-being through nature. Participants can expect grounding meditations to help centre their thoughts, guided mindfulness exercises to deepen their connection to the environment, and opportunities for group reflection to share experiences and build a sense of community. Walks are relaxed, inclusive, and led by experienced facilitators who provide gentle guidance and support throughout.
Who It’s For
Connect3 walks are open to anyone seeking to enhance their mental health and well-being, particularly those feeling isolated or overwhelmed. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful escape, a chance to meet like-minded people, or a way to reconnect with yourself and nature, these walks are for you. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to step outside and explore.
